Big Fred's Bytes - June 1st Edition

Our spring 2012 Community Group session is wrapping up this week, and we have heard some exciting things that God has done in growing many of our brothers and sisters through this session. We will have some topical classes throughout the summer and encourage you to sign up for 1 or 2 that might be of interest to you. Class details are available through www.harvestpa.org . Community Groups will return in September. If you are interested in training to be a group leader or host, please contact Pastor Fred III via email at fredbygrace@gmail.com.
Just a few days until our Monday night concert with Brad & Rebekah. It will be our night of Worldwide Praise, and we are sure you will have a great time! Feel free to invite your friends. Doors open at 6:30 pm on Monday June 4th with the concert starting at 7 pm. Seating will be first come.
We are currently covering some final details for the air conditioning project at PVC and expect that things should be cooling off soon there. We are hoping that the next couple weeks will bring the cooling units themselves. (And we are certain that the heat you’re feeling there is not completely from the sermons of Pastor Mike / Pastor Fred … hang in there.)
Summer VBS is drawing near:
Kittanning Campus: June 25th - 29th with the action starting at 6pm each night. Kids PK4 through 6th grades!!! This is open to our communities, so invite your friend’s and neighbor’s children.
Petrolia Campus: starting mid-June in the Community Park and running throughout the summer.
Our summer kid’s classes for the Kittanning Campus will be changing slightly this summer. Normal classes will be available during the 9 am service time. During 11 am service, the older children will be invited to worship with the adults while classrooms will be open to children 4 and under. If you are willing to help with children’s classes, now is a great time to speak with Pastor David to find a place where you may help.
Central Blood Bank will be set up at Harvest on Tuesday June 12th, 2012 from the hours of noon till 6 pm. Summer is a very difficult time for the Blood Bank to maintain sufficient blood levels. If you are able to help with a blood donation, contact BriAnna Orr at 724-954-1974 to schedule your time. You may also visit the table in the fellowship area this weekend.
