  • What classes do you offer? For children ages birth through grade 6, we have classes during our services at all campuses.   Our primary venue for adult education and fellowship is community groups. We also offer adult classes at various times and days throughout the week. Click here for more information about classes for children, youth and adult ministry.

 

  • What is a community group? This is our small group ministry intended to develop community while we learn together, do life together and love one another. Meetings take place on various days and at times in personal homes throughout the area. Our learning is facilitated by a MAP or Message Application Points that requires deeper study of the scripture and concepts presented in the Sunday sermon.

 

  • If I miss a Sunday, can I still listen to the sermon? Yes, the sermon is available via audio and video on this webpage www.harvestpa.org/sermons. We also have  CDs of the sermon available at no cost! Stop by the  table in the entrance area to pick up a copy of the message or reserve one by calling the Church office. 724-548-5643.

 

  • How can I be contacted about becoming a member of Harvest Community Church? We offer new member classes many times throughout the year. The class is 13 weeks long and covers such items as the gospel, the ordinances, sanctification, the role of the church, servanthood & stewardship, church leadership, evangelism & mission, spiritual gifts tests, etc. To register for the next class, mark the connect card included in your weekly brochure or contact the church office.

 

  • How can I know what mission trips are coming up? To find out what mission trips are coming up in the near future, please contact Huey Adams.

 

  • How can I include an announcement in the Sunday morning brochure? If you would like to have something printed in the Sunday Brochure, please call the Church Office at 724-548-5643 or e-mail Janette Scherf on or before Wednesday for approval.

 

  • How do I schedule a meeting with one of the pastors? Some of our pastors manage their own calendars, so feel free to contact the pastor you wish to meet with directly. If you are not sure who to speak to regarding a specific problem or concern, please call the Church Office  (724-548-5643) and speak with the Office Administrator.

 

  • Can I be married at Harvest Community Church? Members and regular attendees are encouraged to utilize our pastor/s and/or building for marriage ceremonies. A wedding application should be completed to reserve the facility and to select the pastor. The fee for weddings is $275 for members and $375 for non-members. The flat fee covers all expenses associated with the pastor, sound tech, custodian, pre-marriage counseling and building use.

 

  • What are the main office hours? The main office hours are from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.

 

  • How do I get involved in ministry at Harvest? You will find many opportunities to get involved at Harvest presented in the weekly brochure and on our website. Simply join us at the listed time and place. You may email us or mark the connect card to get more information. We also have an occasional leadership position available. If you feel God may be calling you to serve in a leadership or teaching role, then the first step is to download and complete a ministry application, and/or contact us.

 

  • Are the facilities at Harvest Community Church handicap accessible? Yes, the entire building was designed and built to be wheelchair accessible.
