Help Serve International Students...

Harvest has the opportunity to serve international grad students from Carnegie Mellon and Pitt in the months of August and September. These students will be taking classes for the next nine months and will need your help in one of two ways or both:
- From August 1st-21st we will be collecting furnishings for international students who will be living in the states for the next nine months taking classes. Please contact the church office if you have furnishings you'd like to donate. Click here for more info.
- On September 4th and 5th, our church will be serving several international grad students by letting them stay with families, such as yours, starting at noon on the 4th, staying the night, and taking them to church the next day to be taken back to their schools that afternoon. There will be several picnics in the area on the 4th that our church is sponsoring that you can take them to as well as an international student/sponsoring family luncheon after church on Sunday the 5th. We will have an information meeting for potential sponsoring families/homes at 11am and 1pm on August 22nd.
This will give you an opportunity to serve and/or build a relationship with people from other countries from the comforts of your own home and community. Start praying and asking God about your involvement in the lives of these students.
